Terms of Use (EULA)
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Mollify mobile application and related services (the "Mollify app"), provided by Mollify family ("Mollify family", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Mollify app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
The Mollify app helps co-parents coordinate a shared calendar, messaging, and shared expenses. Features may change over time. We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Mollify app.
3. Co-parent linking
When you link with a co-parent, you share household data including calendar events, messages, and expenses. Only share invite codes with the person you intend to link with. You are responsible for how you use shared features.
4. Messaging
Co-parent messages are designed as a shared, permanent record. Messages cannot be deleted after they are sent. Use the tone guidance features thoughtfully; they are aids, not legal advice.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Mollify family offers an auto-renewing monthly subscription ("Mollify Monthly" or similar) for the Mollify app through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Eligible new subscribers may receive a free trial (typically one month). During the free trial you receive full access to subscription features, including shared calendar, messaging, and expenses.
After the free trial ends, your App Store or Google Play account will be automatically charged the subscription price shown at purchase (for example, the monthly price displayed in the app) for the first billing period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple or Google policies.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Mollify app for unlawful, harassing, or abusive purposes
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security
- Reverse engineer or misuse the app except as permitted by law
7. Intellectual property
The Mollify app and its branding, software, and content are owned by Mollify family or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal co-parenting purposes in accordance with these Terms.
8. Disclaimer
The Mollify app is a coordination tool, not legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. Mollify family provides the app "as is" to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mollify family will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Mollify app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty pounds (GBP 50), whichever is greater, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Mollify app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons. Provisions that should survive termination (including messaging records already shared, liability limits, and dispute terms) will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the current version at mollifyfamily.com/terms. Material changes may be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
